Kasauli is a small hill town located in Solan district in the northIndian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the mostvisited Hill Stations and is also known to be a hiker ’sparadise due to its quite and relaxing environment. but thereis a lot of tourist visited there that may damage the natureby ill practices of cleanliness. Therefore, it is necessary totake some serious step towards in this direction. Our college,post graduate government college for girls, sector 42,Chandigarh took a initiative to clean and environmentawareness in tourist places i.e. Kasauli.

On 10th February 2019, 200 NSS volunteers visited Kasauli andclean areas which is mostly loaded with empty plasticbottles, plastic etc . This work was also observed by touristsand locals so it created awareness about cleanliness andenvironment
