Celebrity Stylist Mrs Jones has re-invented the Oxfam store on London’s Camden High Street, creating the ultimate fashion destination for trendsetters seeking unique retro, vintage and restyled clothing and accessories.

Last June (2009), Top Designer and Stylist Mrs Jones who has styled The Killers, Kylie, Scissor Sisters and Goldfrapp, showed Oxfam shoppers how to customise the vast array of nds available from your local Oxfam shop to create new looks to mix into your wardrobe for truly individual style. Oxfam and Mrs Jones reinvented the Camden Oxfam store as the ultimate fashion resource destination for independent style seekers. With its range of eclectic fashion, music, home ware and second-hand books, this inspiring shop opened its doors with a loud launch party in June 2009.

Proving just what you can do with Oxfam’s second-hand clothing, Mrs Jones also styled a photo shoot featuring “real” people modelling unique looks created entirely using garments from Oxfam’s recycling facility, Wastesaver.

Fee Doran, aka Mrs Jones, is one of Britain’s most colourful, eclectic and creative individuals. Mrs Jones’ style takes inspiration from real people and real life, following not runway trends but those that she sees on the streets of London every day. With years of experience specialising in the ruse and transformation of garments, the Mrs Jones label was born. Fee Doran’s ability to visualise and transform any garment into something new and highly desirable has been used in collaborations with brands, artists, stylists and designers around the world.

Famed for her pop star creations, which include Kylie’s ‘Can’t get you out of my head’ white hooded catsuit and Goldfrapp’s ‘Pony’ tails, Mrs Jones has worked with loads of top names from both the music and fashion worlds.

Visit the Oxfam D.I.Y Camden Store and step into a bespoke fashion destination which inspires individuality and clothing customisation. The store has been going strong since the launch last June...By Katy Wilde
