Many people wonder what their purpose is in life. They have trouble
understanding that it comes from within. My purpose is to make moments last
a lifetime by producing high-quality, imaginative videos. My professional goals
include harnessing clients’ ideas and encapsulating them into masterpieces.
All the works of man have their origin in creative fantasy. What right have we then to depreciate imagination.
-Carl Jung
A kid sits in the grass and presses record. His friend comes barreling down the
street on rollerblades with an exaggerated sense of confidence. As all eight
wheels contact a plastic mini-ramp, time shifts. His body soars through the air
in slow motion, completing a full rotation. The camera burns every
millisecond onto the cassette. He lands flawlessly. Excited, the kid holding the
camera stops recording and screams, “I caught that on film!” That kid was me.
I’ve always had a desire to capture people’s moments. That is why I plan to use
my production skills to assist people who believe that their moment has value.
Creation is my passion. Whether it is editing, filming, directing,
brainstorming or coordinating, I love video production. I put the client’s
needs first and use my creativity to design the product.

Dear Ms. Mayer:
Hello, I’d like to nominate Kenton Filipowicz for the business field JoAnne Day
Students of the Year Awards. Kenton has been an outstanding intern throughout
his entire internship here at Concept Commandos, LLC. Concept Commandos, LLC.
is a full-service graphic design firm offering various mutlimedia design services.
Kenton’s responsibilities ranged from filming footage for an online 3D -tour to

Care Non-Profit group, online conferencing, as well as filming and editing video
intro footage for various websites.
The first project Kenton worked on was an online 3D-tour and video intro for
Robbins Paradise Ranch & Chalet. Kenton attended several meetings with
our client to learn the details of the project he would be working on. On the
production day for the 3D-tour, Kenton impressed us with his resourcefulness
by bringing his own equipement. Among his equipment was a camera dolly and
tracks he made himself. For the website’s intro-video Kenton filmed and edited
various wildlife footage on the client’s which the client highlights on her website.
One of the biggest projects Kenton worked on was filimg and editing footage
for the Millennium Dance Company located in New York, NY. The project was
coordinated with our team and the dance company to set up a date to travel to

Success Stories
In 2012, I filmed my first wedding. Weddings are
once in a lifetime events, so capturing those
moments perfectly is critical. I was able to film
with multiple cameras, edit six hours of footage
into a 40 minute video, and deliver the final DVD’s
to the families in less than a week. The clients
received their video 3 days after the wedding and
were thrilled with the end result.
Concept Commandos LLC, a group of graphic/
web designers, was a young company. I
called, asking for an opportunity to serve as a
videographer/intern. After being turned down a
few times, I explained that I owned the necessary
equipment, wouldn’t accept pay, and would work
for no college credit. Intrigued by my persistence,
they accepted me as their intern. The owner
stated that he was impressed with my dedication,
dependability, work ethic and knowledge of my
field.
A dance team needed a music video produced for
their live performance. I filmed the dancers in
multiple settings and edited their movements to
match the rhythm. They also hired me to film the
entire dance recital. By using three cameras and
recruiting a cameraman, the project had high
production quality. I was able to distribute over 50
copies of the recital to audience members and
dancers. Each DVD had custom menus and scene
selection.

Directly after the ceremony I had to

their entrance.
