Smile train is an organization that helps to provide a child with cleft pallet an opportunity to receive surgery and have a reason to smile brightly each and everyday.

Our Mission: To provide a child born with a cleft the same opportunities in life as a child born without.

We helped save a life last year with the money that we raised!

This year, our goal is to continue saving as many lives

as we can!

What: Houston’s 14 museums annually open their doors for

free for a display of art, science, nature, and history.

When: Saturday September 17th (shift 9:30am: 2:00pm)

volunteers are free to explore the rest of the museum district

from 2:00-5:00pm

Where: Houston Weather Museum, 5104 Caroline St. Houston,

TX 77004

Why: Assist the weather museum as they tend to their guests

and educate them about the importance of weather and weather

research.

How: Meet at school to carpool. Hours for those who can

provide rides. Be at school by 9:00am prompt!
