• All their upper and lower case letters• All their letter sounds • First 4 sight word lists (100 words)• Blending short vowel words• Number recognition 0-20• Write their numbers 0-20• Count to 100

Writing

• Need to be able to write 5 sentences on a topic independently with…– Capital letters– Punctuation– Spacing between words

• A paragraph is the bare minimum for writing

Reading

• Sight Words are important!!!

• 100 words = Begin AR program • AR is Accelerated Reader– Leveled books – Based on student interests– Comprehension Questions
