A good transition and beyond!

• Evening routine that involves an early bedtime – at least 10 hours nightly, decreased digital input, and READING! Rhyming books are good.

• Morning routine with time for breakfast, and a calm drive or walk to school.

Successful transitioning continued:

• Keep drop off short and sweet. There my be some tears!

• Make sure your child is prepared to exit your vehicle: jacket on, pack back ready, etc.

• Let us know when you need help!

Parenting Makes a Difference!

-Continue to read and talk with your child. Ask questions!-Have summer picnics to allow children opportunities to open their own lunch containers.-Encourage independence with restroom skills and exiting and entering vehicles..
