WELCOME Welcome to „Navigo“, a symposium on spatial navigation in humans. The Nobel prize for medicine and physiology in 2014 was given to John O’Keefe and Edvard and May-Britt Moser for their research on the cellular and neurophysiological mechanisms on spatial navigation. Our symposium aims at discussing research on human navigation in health, during aging and distinct pathological conditions. Thereby, a fundamental understanding of cerebral network functions in general and of compensatory mechanisms due to pathological conditions may be achieved. M. Dieterich Th. Brandt A. Danek F. Schöberl
