4 Levels of Access Control Systems
Stand Alone, Computer Managed-Computer is used for programming, but is not connected to each door. -Secondary device is used to transfer data from PC to controllers
On Line, Computer Managed-Computer is connected to all controllers for convenient immediate control
Traffic Control-Basic Electronic control of a door
Enterprise-Multiple buildings connected to main system.-Cameras, Intercom, Gates etc. are fully integrated with Access Control devices.
