If you are a participant in the Rochester General Health System Employee Retirement Plan or the Unity Health System Retirement Plan, follow the steps below to access the Pension Calculator, where you can run estimates of your pension benefit.
Navigate to myrochealth.com and select Newark, RGH, Unity or ACM from the Select Staff Tools drop
down box in the upper right corner of the page. Scroll down and select the Pension Calculator tile, or go
directly to https://www.eepoint.com/rochester from any browser.
1. Select Register here to begin the account registration process. (If you are a Unity or ACM employee
and have accessed the previous Pension Planner, enter that User Name and Password and click Login
to continue to the home page. Note that you may be required to re-authenticate if you haven’t
logged in recently.)

2. Enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number, your last name and your date of birth (in
mm/dd/yyyy format), and click Continue.
3. Create a user name and password. Hover over the information icon (letter “i” in a blue circle) in the right corner above the field for field requirements.

4. Select two security questions and type your answers. Make sure to choose answers you’ll
remember! Complete the remaining fields and click Continue.
5. Read through the Terms of Use and click Accept Terms when complete.

6. After you click Accept Terms, you will receive a 6-digit verification code via email. Enter that code
and click Verify.
7. The second level of authentication is either via text message or phone call; choose your preferred
method using the drop down arrow and then click Send.

8. Once you click Send, the phone call or text message will provide a 6-digit verification code; enter the
code and click Verify.
9. You will receive confirmation your verification process is complete. Click Continue.

10. When you see the Home screen, you’ve completed the enrollment process and are ready to use
the Pension Calculator!
11. Click on the My Retirement button and choose Estimate My Pension Benefit.

12. Enter the age you plan to leave your current affiliate (RGH or Unity), and the age you wish to begin
your pension benefit, by typing the age in each box or by clicking on the up and down arrows. You
can also select your anticipated salary growth, and enter your spouse’s date of birth, but these
fields are not required to run the calculation. Click Estimate Pension Benefit when done.
Note: The Normal Retirement Age on the Plan is age 65. If you are vested, you can commence as
early as age 55 with a reduction in the benefit. See the Summary Plan Description (from My
Retirement button, select Resources, then Plan Information) for additional information.
13. Depending on certain variables such as the computer you’re using, your internet connection speed
and the number of scenarios you’re running, calculations may take up to 60 seconds to run. This is
what you will see when your calculation is running.

14. When complete, the calculation results will automatically display on your screen. From this screen,
you can choose to change your calculation inputs and run another estimate, compare up to 3
scenarios or print the results of your estimate.

15. Selecting the Compare up to 3 Scenarios button allows you to enter up to three different ages at
termination and commencement.

16. The result is a side-by-side comparison of your pension benefit estimates.

17. Please provide contact information for your spouse (if married) or a Primary Contact by going to
Profile, then Primary Contacts.
18. Select Add.

19. Enter information in all fields marked with a red asterisk (*), selecting the relationship and gender
from the drop down. Click Save when complete.
20. If you have a Primary Contact listed, and wish to change it, select Edit Contact.

21. Enter the new information in all fields marked with a red asterisk (*), selecting the relationship and
gender from the drop down. Click Save when complete.
22. Confirmation of change in Primary Contact information will display.

23. If you are an active employee, you can provide your contact number and email address by going to
Profile and selecting Personal Information.
24. Enter your new contact numbers or email and click Update Your Information.

25. Confirmation of your changes will display.

26. If you are no longer an active employee, you may also update your address under Personal
Information. Enter your new address (fields with a red asterisk are required) and click Update Your
Information. (Active employees must update their address in Workday.)

27. You can also access plan information through the Pension Calculator. From the My Retirement
button, select Resources to view Plan documents, Frequently Asked Questions and helpful Terms to
Know.
28. When you are finished working in the Pension Calculator, select Log Out from the Profile button.
