When studying the muscle models

• Learn the NAME and LOCATION of the muscle on the model.

• Learn the ACTION of the muscle (what action it produces when the muscle contracts)

A note on muscle actions…

• On the lab exam, you only need to provide ONE action.

• The action MUST have an ACTION word and the BONE/BODY part being acted upon.– Example: Acceptable – FLEX ARM
