IPEd Focal Person, LAKAS High School

*March 1, 1982, a literacy program for the Aytaswas organized by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary (FMM). After the mount Pinatubo eruption in June 1991, the Lubos na Alyansa ng mga Katutubong Ayta ng Sambales (LAKAS) were displaced and settled at sitio Bihawo, Villar, Botolan, Zambales.

*LAKAS community headed

by Carlito Domulot and

leaders/elders requested

the establishment of LAKAS

High School. LHS was

established in June 2013.

*As per DepEd Order No. 71

s. 2003, LAKAS High School

finally had been approved

as a newly established

school in the Division of

Zambales with Government

Permit No. 043 s.2013.

*The area of the school

site is about three

thousand seven

hundred fifty (3,750)

square meters within

the LAKAS community.
