Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship, Torness Power Station, East Lothian
Our Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship Scheme is a four-year programme which focuses on the skills required to maintain our power stations situated around the UK.
The programme runs for four years, the first two of which are based at the Royal Naval base at HMS Sultan near Portsmouth, Hampshire. During this time you’ll undergo training in academic and
workshop environments to ensure you gain an excellent introduction to engineering and develop a strong skills foundation.

Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) S5/6 • Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) are offering a programme of
subject-based masterclasses for 5th and 6th year school students, introducing them to the variety of subjects studied at the College, ranging across the five Schools, Art, Design, Music, ESALA (Architecture and Landscape Architecture), and History of Art.
• The workshops are developed and delivered by leading academic staff and will allow insights into student life and study experience, as well as guidance about the wealth of career opportunities on offer in art institutions and special collections. The sessions emphasise hands-on experience and students will have the opportunity to discuss and get advice on their own works and/or portfolios, and to handle original works.
