Why don't we learn and take the opportunity to get better as a daily habit?

The biggest opportunity to learn is chance, if you walk into a room of people playing cardgame you don’t know and you leave the room because of it instead of sitting down andasking how the game goes then you have wasted an opportunity to learn. Same withanything else, we encounter different opportunities each day to learn something new, we justneed to get better at taking advantage of that.
People are often worried about looking stupid if they don’t know something so that they maskand pretend like they do, which in essence is the real act of stupidity because they wastedthe opportunity to ask questions and learn.

We are all walking libraries. It is not only important to ask what else we want to add to ourlibrary (when it comes to learning), but as important to recognize what we already have in it.
The other side of this story is the understanding that we all have something to contribute tosomeone else's learning.
We need to recognize that we all have a vast experience of knowledge, skills and abilitiesthat no matter how much we take for granted, others wish they had.

What now moment...
Our time in the student community is limited. How do we make the most of it and apply thisattitude to our own communities
- As leaders we need to show interest in each other- being open about our own limitations- rewarding effort and "culture of sharing"- "organic learning"
