� 90% are satisfied with the results of their internet
search
� 60% but show weaknesses in the literacy test

Despite the fact that most skills are being acquired outside of learning institutions, informal learning is still considered to be little important. Meanwhile, both staff and employers benefit from it.
"The best learning occurs in real life, with real problems and with real people –
not in classrooms." (Charles Handy)
� Studies show that we do learn approximately 80 percent of our skills informally
� NASA estimates the share of informal learning at the workplace even at
85 to 90%! (Hoffman 2009)
