• Greater than 50 mm• Enlarges, but includes less of scene• Like looking thru telescope• Higher lowest f-stop• Have to use a faster shutter speed

– Equivalent to focal length of lens– 200 mm lens = 1/200 shutter speed

• Less than 50 mm– 35 mm, 28 mm are common

• Show a wider angle of scene than normal

• Greater depth of field

• Can cause distortion– Especially if shooting close to subject
