Life is a Classroom. You get a lesson and when you've learned it you get the next one. And we never run out of lessons. Here are some I learnt!

Lessons I learnt from the greatest teacher –

LIFE

Make mistakes. As early as you can.

If you’re not making enough mistakes, you’re not growing.

Make mistakes early and learn from them.

It was the other way round in school, wasn’t it?

This is how it’s in life. Get used to it!

First the test, then the lesson.

The difference between success and failure comes not from knowledge and skills but from attitude.

Your attitude defines your altitude

Listen to your heart. Follow your gut.

Believe in the power of your emotions. And the intelligence that lies within it.

Your heart is more intelligent than your brain

Life is really not about getting ‘THERE’. Soon, ‘THERE’ will become the new ‘HERE’.

Life is really about who you BECOME in the process of trying to get ‘THERE’.

‘THERE’ is no better than ‘HERE’

When you grow up they call it ‘Team Work’!

You can do it better with the help of ‘others’

So what if they called it ‘copying’ in school.

Respect Yourself

If you don’t respect yourself, nobody else will.

Rule #1 : There are no rulesRule #2: Don’t forget rule no.1

Most successful people don’t follow rules.

There are 2 rules in Life

They make them.

Impossible is temporary

What was impossible yesterday is possible today.

What is impossible today will be possible someday. It’s just a matter of time.

Financial skills are as important as Scholastic skills.

Good grades and a good job won’t make you rich.

It’s not what you make. It’s what you keep.

Growing what you save and invest will.

Righteousness is a grand recipe for disaster.

What is right for someone is wrong for someone else.

And vice-versa.

Give up your right to be right.

After Difficulty comes Opportunity

And after Opportunity comes Difficulty.

Just as Day comes Night and after Night comes Day. That’s how everything in life is.

There are two ways to see

One is with your eyes. The other is with your mind.

What you cannot see with your eyes is more powerful than what you CAN see with your eyes.

So, work on the invisible.

Growing up is a trap!

As a kid I was carefree, creative, curious. I didn’t know any limits. I never took no for an answer. I had drive, inspiration.

When you grow up, make sure the kid inside you survives.

There is always enough time

Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa.. they all had the same time as we have.

24 hours every day, to be precise.

Question EVERYTHING.

(It’s okay, be ready for some silly answers )

The only silly question is the one that is never asked.

Money is a product of Imagination

Money is made in the head before it is made in reality.

Your money is therefore directly dependant on the quality and the quantity of your ideas.

Stand for something

When you stand for something, there will be some people for you and some against you.

When you stand for nothing, there will be nobody for you and nobody against you.

Swim out to the ship

To the ship of opportunity, that is.

If you keep waiting for the ship to come to you, you’ll be waiting forever.

You are not a tree!

Trees are stuck. You are not.

If you do not like something, change it.

If you do not like your job, QUIT IT!

Become recession-proof

There is the government run economy.

And there is YOUR economy. The one YOU create.

It’s possible to make yours recession-proof.

Do not sleepwalk through life.

Most people die at 21 and are buried at 75.

Do you want to be one of them?

Wake up to your true calling

Mark Twain said “The two most important days of your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why.”

I think I found out mine!
