TIME TO LEARN As fall approaches people often think about returning to school
or to learning about new and exciting subjects. So why not
consider taking a new course this fall at the Lifelong Learning
Centre? Or you can attend one of our presentations being offered
at low or no cost. LLC has something for everyone who wants to
learn, to get or stay fit, or to connect with familiar faces or make
new friends. Most courses and presentations will continue to be
offered remotely this fall with a few in-person courses for those
who may not be comfortable connecting online.
FALL OPEN HOUSEThis is your opportunity to learn what the Lifelong Learning
Centre has to offer and to hear from some of our instructors. For
those who are new to remote learning – or who want a refresher
– there will be Zoom and CCE Community demonstrations
before presentations begin each day of the Open House.
Following presentations you will have an opportunity to engage
in conversation with LLC staff and members of the Seniors
University Group to learn more about what we do and how you
can get connected from wherever you are.
These sessions are free and open to all, but you must register in
advance to receive one Zoom link which will be good for all three
days.

“The LLC courses are wonderful places to find support and camaraderie with like-minded people. For me, the Creative Writing classes rekindled a desire to share my stories with others. In particular, Creative Writing Technique class has taught me ways to both read and write better. I would recommend these courses to anyone, whether they are new to the craft or are well along in their writing journey.”
DENNIS MENNIE
“Classes at LLC have been a part of my life for several years. Each term I look forward to the many mind enriching topics. I find attending classes provides a forum for social interaction and exposure to other learning opportunities in the community.” .”
