Colors that couldn´t come to an agreementPhotos, 2011

In this work I was investigat-ing the little details of the urban city space – some small coloring misunderstandings what we can see almost as independent street art pieces made by random people or house owners by accident or just because reckoning without surrounding objects.

Things only look wrongLand art, tape on plywood, 2011

One main purpose of this work was to play with the materials and pos-sibilities what nature offers us. The mirroring effect of the lake gives us the opportunity to double or reflect the object or the whole surrouding, creating a whole new independent space to discern.

Mariann doing thingsPhotos, 2012

After North Koeran leader Kim Jong Il’s death some people decided to make a tribute webpage to a great leader, who liked to look at things – kimjongillookingatth-ings. Inspired by this, i decided to make a tribute to my good friend Mariann, who likes to do things.

Activating spaceVideo, 2011

The aim of this work is to bring up some questions about space and how we perceive the room when we are in it. Is the room active by itself? Do people or objects in the room make it active? Can we transform the room to something else with our gestures? How can we define a space where we are in?

RhythmVideo, 2010

Rhythm is one of those things that when you once notice it somewhere, it often becomes attractive and it’s hard to turn your look away from the passing assambly of correctly planted row of trees or a nicely organised house complex. Also we sometimes find oureslves tapping our foot along with the beat of music and in my work - batting the eyes along with the barking dog.

Tagging projectStreet art, plaster, 2011

It’s quite common thing for street artists or gang members to mark their territory by writing their names or signs on the walls. I wanted to do something like that - to leave a mark that i have been in this place, so I decided to make my own sign - little sculptures of myself what I can leave in every place I have been. Also there is one more dimension of this work - traveling - many of the little self portraits are not attached to anything so passing people are free to take the scuplture with them and carry it around the city or bring it into their home.
