Linde Material Handling
Enter the E-zone. The new Linde electric counterbalance range E 12 – E 20.
A matter of course for Linde. Linde raises the benchmark for functional innovation, comfort, performance, effi ciency, safety, economy and reliability with the new range: because Linde customers have high expectations – and rightly so.
Linde consistency. Once again Linde has set newstandards. Businesses can now achieve even more by using Linde electric counterbalance trucks.
Enter the E-zone
Energy for your handling processes. Unique axle provides exceptional mobility.
Everything revolves around the new axle. Once again, Linde has stretched the technical boundaries. The new axle produces impressive output with minimal input. A technical masterpiece, which is both powerful and virtually indestructible.
The new axle combines compact dimensions with high performance enabling seamless, precision manoeuvrability in the toughest of applications while demanding little in return. Its new sensor-controlled cooling system provides a high level of effi ciency.
Every component of the axle has been specially developed for this new model series. The steering system and the axle form a single compact, space-saving unit.
3 The new compact axle is completely encapsulated and is virtually maintenance-free. Apart from oils there are no axle servicing costs to consider, and the unit will endure the most demanding operating conditions without failure.
3 The sealed electronic control modules are mounted directly onto the axle to enhance performance, and the shortened cable runs ensure excellent effi ciency.
3 The axle is sealed against the ingress of dust and water and the controls are also protected for trouble-free use in cold store applications.
3 Unlike conventional forklifts the new Linde range has an active, sensor-controlled cooling system which ensures that maximum levels of motor effi ciency and output are maintained for long periods even when working in very hot climates or environments.
3 The steering angle sensor on the steering axle controls the rpm of the wheels, individually for each driven wheel, on the basis of the steering setting. When the truck is turning in a curve, power is automatically reduced to the drive wheel on the inside of the curve. This increases the energy yield and the thrust force and optimises roadholding and stability characteristics. Tyre stresses are also minimised for extended tyre life.

Energy that is visible. Energy that goes further for longer.
Performance depends on energy. The new Linde E-trucks have a unique energy management system incorporating an advanced Linde battery state of charge indicator. Apart from accurately and reliably displaying the energy available at any given time, it also precisely measures the current and the available voltage to provide the operator with a continuous update of the battery’s overall condition; thus ensuring maximum uptime and extended battery life.
Previously, it was only possible to show the approximate battery charge level. The Linde energy management system provides advanced warning of charging requirements making it a simple matter to calculate shifts. It also enables the operator to utilise more of the available battery energy without damaging the battery through deep discharging. This increases both productivity and profi tability.

Linde engineers have calculated, measured and developed. The end result is the new E-indicator, the index for handling performance that takes account of time and energy consumption. This is the fi rst effi ciency index for the materials handling industry:

More uptime, shorter charging times. Because of the highly effi cient axle, each battery charge lasts longer and the charging process is faster. Depending on the battery capacity, charging takes between 5.5 and 7.5 hours (utilising high-frequency charging equipment and electrolytic recirculation.) A new high-frequency on-board charger unit is optionally available for charging the battery in situ on the truck – safely and quickly. This is good for the working schedules and good for the battery.
If the high-frequency on-board charging option is not selected Linde offers fi ve optional methods of rapid battery changing to your individual requirements.
Only Linde has so many different changing options in its range.
Whether lifting or rolling the battery out sideways or hoisting out vertically, Linde has a battery changing solution to suit your individual requirements.
With the new Linde intelligent battery management system, errors inhandling the battery are virtually eliminated; there is no danger of fi tting the wrong battery, no deep discharging and no overcharging.

All the performance parameters are easy to change on a Linde forklift. Anyone who has ever driven one will confi rm this. Some of the major ergonomic features can only be appreciated by driving the truck: Linde has introduced an intuitive operator-truck interface into the cab. All the fi ngertip controls are within easy reach and require only minimal movements. The less the operator has to move in the truck, the more the operator can move with the truck.

Linde PureMotion is the name given to the entire range of environmentally-friendly measures offered by Linde fork lift trucks. After all, market leadership means accepting responsibility for all aspects relating to the environment and health and wellbeing in the workplace.
Advances in Linde fork lift trucks meet or exceed current standards.
For example, comparison of vibration levels for Linde fork lift trucks with those of competitor trucks illustrates the superiority of the isolated drive axle concept, especially at higher driving speeds. When high handling performance and high driving speeds are combined, competitor trucks exceed the recommended exposure level.
In other human vibration dampening comparisons such as driving over drastically varying surfaces, Linde fork lift trucks achieve the best results.
Excellent all-round visibility makes it possible to work more effectively and productively in complete safety.

Energy under control.Visibility increases productivity.
The more the operator is able to see during the working shift, the more productivity will be seen at the end of the shift. The better the view when driving, the more pallets per hour. Linde counterbalance trucks are superbly easy to operate and provide the perfect blend of safety, precision, effi ciency, high productivity and economy.
The reason for this lies not only in the unique drive system but also in the innovative design and layout of the chassis, cab and mast units. The operator sits beneath a self-supporting frame and protective overhead guard – the Linde ProtectorFrame. It is designed to fulfi l two essential functions: it protects the operator, and stabilises the load.
The unique, inclined top mounted tilt cylinders evenly distribute the stresses imposed by the load and stabilise it during the lifting, lowering and tilting cycles.
In addition, the mast is mounted directly to the drive axle so that road shocks are not transferred to the operator’s compartment or the load.
The result of this innovative layout is safe, precise load handling in all operating conditions as well as reduced handling costs.
The sturdy Linde ProtectorFrame ensures the operator’s safety. Isolating and cushioning road vibrations provides greater operator comfort. Insert: resilient axle suspension system.
