COURSE OVERVIEW

A 3- day faculty development program on Linear Integrated Circuits- a system approach under Texas Instruments Center of Excellence sponsored by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow is being organized by MIET Meerut, during 30May -1 June, 2016. Analog application like video signal processing, portable battery powered instruments, DSL /cable modems, Distributed power system, Industrial control, Telecom and other applications require general purpose operational amplifiers, wide bandwidth precision analog multipliers, parallel input multiplying digital to analog converters ,wide input non synchronous buck type DC/ DC controller and low dropout regulators. This workshop aimed to provide the state-of-art knowledge in the area of linear Integrated Circuits to learn real world concepts and complement it with a unique hands on experience in analog domain. ASLK pro kit is designed to support all features to realized real time analog projects and applications.

vUnderstand the system approach for bui ld ing appl icat ions around TI technologies

vEmpower faculties with necessary knowledge, skills and expose them to TI technologies and thereby bridging the gap between industry and academia.

COURSE CONTENT

This course will provide the participants an understanding of many topics including:

vLinear Integrated Circuits and role of TI Platform : Basic concepts, framework and role of faculty mentor.

vIntroduction of ASLK Pro Kit and its various building blocks :

vBasic Op-AMP concepts : Differential voltage, CMRR, Regenerative oscillator, Inverting and non-inverting amplifier using ASLK Pro

vI m p l e m e n t a t i o n o f I n t e g r a t o r, Differentiator and comparator with applications.

vMULTISIM and simulation of function generator circuit and various filters.

vHardware implementation of Universal filter design.

vA p p l i c a t i o n o f m u l t i p l i e r s i n Communication domain: AM, ASK, FSK, implementation using simulation tool.

vSimulation of VCO using function generator.

vFeedback and Valedictory.
