FROM ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY
We collected an overwhelming amount of can goods, non
perishable food items and other items in need. The items were donated to our neighbouring food bank which directly supports individuals and families in need in our community. We would like to thank the parishioners for their generous donations and continued support on initiatives. God Bless.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~. Summer Campers Wanted!
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SVDP) is looking to identify boys and girls who would greatly benefit from going to summer camp who otherwise wouldn’t have
the opportunity. Over 1,600 girls ages 5-13 and boys ages 7-12 will
attend Marygrove/Camp Ozanam this summer and enjoy all the experiences that make a week at camp so special: swimming, canoeing, bare feet, campfires, watching for shooting stars, and so much more.
On the weekend of June 8th, a special collection will be taken up in our parish to support the work of Marygrove Camp. We thank you for your support and for being part of this change.
For further information please see a SVDP member at the back of the church after Sunday mass or call 647-428-2880. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.
Are you just visiting the Church? Are you new in the community?
Have you forgotten your Church envelopes at home? Visitors’ Envelopes [pink] are available for you to use. They can be found in the literature rack in the foyer of the church.
Please be sure to fill out all information on the envelope. We thank you for your contribution and co-operation.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~. POPE’S PASTORAL WORKS
This collection was established by the bishops of Canada in 1970. The Papal Charities allow the Pope to contribute to various charitable causes around the world, particularlytoward aiding the victims of war, famine and natural disasters. By contributing to the Pope’s Pastoral Works, the
faithful of Canada give a universal dimension to their charity. Upcoming Special Collection
will be on May 25th & 26th - please give generously.

We glory in the victorious love of Christ.
All true love has its origins in God, who is love itself, and so the Christian believer must seek to love as God loves, and to
share love as abundantly as God shares it with his creation. Love is the very hallmark of the Christian life.

BY SUPPORTING YOUTH MINISTRY IN OUR PARISHES
What diference does training make for youth ministers? Consider that the 40+ youth ministers in the Archdiocese of Toronto collectively impact thousands of youth and their families. The Ofce of Catholic Youth (OCY), funded byShareLife, visits parishes, equips youth
ministers, and facilitates networking—including an archdiocesan training day attended by 200 youth ministers and volunteers. OCY helps ensure a vibrant church for future generations.
June 2 is the next ShareLife Sunday.
Please give generously.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~. BUNDLE UP SUNDAY
St. Vincent de Paul will be collecting your donation of gentle used clothing on May 25 & 26th. For more info, visit www.ssvptoronto.ca.
A stained glass window will be dedicated in memory of Rev. Peter Tammearu.
Donations are still being accepted and envelopes are available in the foyer of the church. We thank all those who have generously given to this cause.
