After making a master pattern, make an additional pattern for the appliqué by folding a 14" square of freezer paper in quarters. Trace the pattern onto one quarter, refold, and staple to secure for cutting. Before removing the staples, cut the red blossoms from the green portion and press to appropriate fabric.
