ABOUT

LRRH_ is an art project with a focus on contemporary art intextile. The tapestry serial works and editions of textile art works produced via 'Art Edition By' are the first initiatives of projects by LRRH_ that merge the spheres of textile ad art.

LRRH_ was founded in 2009 as an affiliated company ofDaniela Goergens, the general director of the Cologne-Berlin Daniela Goergens, the general director of the Cologne-Berlin based art project.

PROJECT

The LRRH_ ART EDITIONS BY are limited serial works and editions by renown,contemporary and promising artists. Through the ART EDITIONS BY project, thecollaborating artists explore their creative process in new and innovative ways in themedium of textile.

When presented as framed tapestry or worn as sculpture the When presented as framed tapestry or worn as sculpture the serial works become unique embodiments of contemporary fine art. The textile editions represent a diverse compilation of artis-tic expressions. The flexibility in this medium has been facili-tated by a wide variety of recent advancements in woven fiber, processing and fabrication technologies.

The works of the LRRH_ art project, synthesis textile and art. This is achieved by combining the highest qualities of textiles and know-how with the expertise of manual and technological skill. This effort has resulted in, the LRRH_ art project being highly appreciated as a concept, and the works prizedby collectors.

EDITIONS

LRRH_ Textile art editions are highly exclusive editions of ten that transcend formal regulations, allowing the artist to freely choose size and shape of the pieces, as well as production tech-niques and methods of manual textile refinement to create utterly unique textile artwork.

Each of the LRRH_ »ART EDITION BY« edition pieces is uniquely numbered and is accompanied by a certificateendorsed the corresponding artist and the LRRH_ art project.

SERIES

LRRH_ Silk tapestry series are digitally printed on 110 x 110 cm sized matte or glossy silk fabric. A series of 100 copies are pro-duced in silk and thus often find their way into the public view as a personal accessory.

Each of the LRRH_ »ART EDITION BY« series pieces is uniquely numbered and accompanied by a certificate endorsed by LRRH_ art project.
