Transformation Models: An Introduction Fall 2018 – Winter 2019with Applications in RThis thesis provides an introduction to transformation models by presenting thetheoretical background necessary to understand these models and by explainingin detail how to implement them. Many examples on real as well as simulateddata are provided to guide the reader into this flexible world, from the set-up ofa model to making prediction based on the most likely transformation with themlt package to obtaining transformation trees and forests via the trtf package. Finally, the potential of transformation models as a tool for data analysis isexplored by following a top-down approach for model selection similar to theone presented in the paper “Top-down transformation choice” by Prof. Dr. T.Hothorn.

Multiple Comparisons Using R Spring 2018I examine in more depth some of the concepts and methods presented in the book“Multiple Comparisons using R” by F. Bretz, T. Hothorn and P. Westfall.I perform all-pairwise comparisons on different designs to test the performanceof the R methods glht and TukeyHSD.
