OverviewLung cancer begins with the out of control growth of abnormal cells in the lungs, it then invades nearby tissues and form tumors.

Lung cancer is categorized into three main forms non-small cell, small cell, and lung carcinoid. It is caused from a variety of different things although many times lung cancer is linked to smoking. Some of the symptoms include coughing, chest pain, hoarseness, weight loss, etc. And finally there are 3 ways to treat lung cancer- surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.
