The school celebrated Makar Sankranti, Uttarayan and
Lohri on Monday, 14 January 2019. It was a fun filled day with students flying kites making the skyline colourful with
varied hues. Spool of threads, colourful kites flying and cutting each other made the festival all the more exciting
for the kids.
In the evening sacred fire was lit in the open and the staff performed the rituals of Lohri as customary and offered
their prayers. Til gajak and peanuts were distributed amongst all as these are considered to be auspicious on
this occasion.
