The Arctic fox is a mammal. Its average size is 85 inches and it is small. Its skin is covered in fur. It is fast and it moves on the ground.

Habitat

The Arctic fox lives in Antarctica and in the Arctic Circle. Its shelter is underground. The summers are short and the winters are long and cold. The temperature can be negative 40 degrees.

Diet

The Arctic fox is a carnivore. One food that the Arctic fox eats is seal. The Arctic fox gets its food by stealing from the Arctic wolf. The Arctic fox chews its food and swallows.

It eats everyday.

Behavior

The Arctic fox is nomadic. It spends most of its day looking for food or eating.
