Cuttin up Barber shop is a local barbershop in Pinellas Park with tremendous potential to be the most successful in the area.

Introduction

Cuttin up has been in business for over 15 years! They have many loyal clients and have been successful However, they are having troubles keeping the shop busy all year round.

The Opportunity

The shop has so much potential, we just need to utilize all of our marketing techniques, add in some upgrades, and promotions.

The Current Situation

Keeping the barbershop steady with customers all year round

Key Success Factors

1. Tons of clients2. Loyalty3. Involvement in community4. Big barbershop

Analysis of Alternatives

Surveyed men, women, and children to see what changes they would like to see.

Men want more TVs- Could cost a few thousand Women want upgrades to women's services-Couple hundred dollars Children want a gaming console- Around 400$

Strategic Option

The following things need to be implemented into the barbershop: Upgrades-Have upgrades done within 6 months, first customer upgrades

then shop upgrades. Example: Credit card machine, Paint, modern fixtures

Promotions- Do promotions 2 weeks out of the month

More money More exposure New clients Motivating emplyees

Older clients wont like the new upgrades Workers wont like the change Competing shops Money wasted

Final Recommendations

Keep everyone’s feelings in mind when implementing changes Gradual changes Make sure there is something for everyone Host a re-grand opening
