Exam• What will this class do for me? – Improve your skills in intermediate algebra
• Topics: Rational expressions, Radical expressions, Linear equations, graphing, and Quadratic equations
– Begin to prepare you for MATH 1001 or MATH 1111

• What if I don’t pass MATH 0099? – PASS: Earn C or better in course & earn 40 + on
COMPASS Exit Exam– Required to repeat course*
• When do I take the COMPASS Exit Exam? – End of the term (August 1, 2012, time TBD)– Must bring photo ID for test– May use calculator (some restrictions apply)
