BackgroundLeadingtothisInquiry

• Asanadministrator,it’salltooeasytogetwrappedupintasksthatdonothavestrongcorrelationtostudentlearningandimprovinginstruction.Beingtheinstructionalleaderinmybuildingismymostimportantrole.

PurposeofThisInquiry• Thepurposeofmyactionresearchprojectistomaximizemytimeinclassroomsobservinginstructionandengaginginconversations/professionaldevelopmentexerciseswithteachersthatleadtoimprovedinstruction.Irecognizethattherewillbeorganizationalandotheradministrativetasksthatwillrequiremytimeandattention.Mygoalistodevotethegreatestamountoftimeineachday/weektoactivitiesrelatedtoclassroominstruction.
