weekend that many families go
camping and it is often recognized as the
unoffi cial start to summer. In honour of this,
we want to make sure you’re prepared for
summer. If you followed our Spring Cleaning
tips from the last issue of Pulse, you’ve already
got a head start. If not, that’s okay, you’ve
still got some time before summer offi cially
arrives. Being organized reduces everyday
stress because it enables you to easily fi nd
what you need.
• Take some time now to swap out the
clothing in your closet so you don’t have
to dig behind heavy cardigans to fi nd
t-shirts.
• Put your BBQ and salad cookbooks front
and centre, putting away those with slow
cooker recipes and heavier, comfort
food meals.
• Up the ante during your workouts so
bathing suit shopping is less daunting.
Grab a workout partner and engage in
a little friendly competition, or motivate
one another by holding each other
accountable.
• If you’ve got children who are about to
be spending their days at home, stock up
on activities they can be doing to stave
off boredom and prevent days spent in
front of the TV.
