Worship series through Feb. 7:Spirituality is not one-size-fits-all. God creates each of us not just to worship, but to do so in ways that align with who God created us to be. This exploration and prayerful discovery of your souls path to God will be marked with growth and filled with the riches of a close walk with God. The pathways we explore weekly are pieces that can be arranged in an infinite number of combinations in order for you to start walking in faith or continue as a follower of Jesus to draw closer to him. Lets go on an adventure. Hold on!

Ministries for all ages
Room at the Inn Winter ShelterDonations: payable to MUMC with RATI noted. The Shelter will be at Missouri UMC Jan. 31-Feb. 14. If you are interested in signing up to volunteer, let us know at roomattheinncomo@gmail.com and we will send you a volunteer link. This year, we are interested in having a host from MUMC who has volunteered with RATI in the past to be at the shelter each night in the kitchen from 5:30 to 7:30pm to organize the volunteers and answer questions. If you are interested in working a night or two in that capacity, email Connie at wolfgang65202@gmail.com.
Offering EnvelopesThank you to everyone who picked up their personalized giving envelopes this past month. We will be mailing out those that remain this week.
Giving numbers? Not any more!Whereas in the past, a giving number might have been assigned to you and your family, we now identify contribu-tions simply by donor name. Donations made by check are credited to the person signing the check. In the case of cash donations, I assign those to the first name appearing on the envelope. That being the case, adding an address helps us distinguish donors when we have persons sharing a common name.
Giving Statements for 2015Church Community Builder (CCB) users can access their 2015 giving statement at moumc.ccbchurch.com. Thank you for making use of this very convenient resource. We will be mailing 2015 giving statements to donors not using CCB the week of Jan. 25. As always, thank you for your support of Missouri UMC and its ministries!
Invitation: Mission Study TourHave you ever wondered how your mission contributions are used in other lands? You are invited to join the Rainbow Network "Go and See" mission study tour to Nicaragua, March 30-April 3. On Wednesday, travel to Nicaragua, and join others for dinner at the Best Western Hotel. On Thursday and Friday visit healthcare, education, economic development, and housing programs in numerous villages. On Saturday, return home or enjoy an optional day of sightseeing, and travel home on Sunday. Cost, Wednesday-Sunday, double occupancy, is $575 plus airfare. For more information and to register go to www.GoandSee.org or call Rainbow Network, 417-889-8088. You may also ask Judy Parsons and Cleo Kottwitz who were inspired and motivated by the tour last year, 573-446-0799.
Sponsor Our Sunday Altar FlowersA few dates remain if you would like to sponsor MUMCs beautiful Sunday morning altar flowers. You can dedicate the flowers in memory or celebration of a special person or event, and the cost to sponsor an arrangement is $40. Following our Sunday worship, the flowers are divided into smaller arrangements and shared with our members not able to attend services by our Flower Ministry team. You may also take the arrangement home with you. Please sign up on the Altar Flower Ministry board in the connector or contact Kathy Carson at carsonk@moumc.org or 443-3111.
