1 Unpack the machine and check the componentsThecomponentsincludedintheboxmaydifferdependingonyourcountry.

Pullthepapertraycompletelyoutofthemachineasshownbythearrow. Fanthepaperwell.

Connectthetelephonelinecord.UsethesocketmarkedLINEandguidethecordoutthebackofthemachine.

Liftthescannercover. Closethescannercover.

FollowtheTouchscreeninstructionstounpackandinstalltheinkcartridges.Themachinewillpreparetheinktubesystemforprinting.

Whenthemachinehasfinishedtheinitialcleaningprocess,followtheTouchscreeninstructionstoconfigurethemachine’ssettings.•Checkprintquality•Configurethetraysettings•Viewoperationtips•SetBrotherLCDMessagedefaults•Printtheinstallationsheet

Opentheinkcartridgecover,andthenremovetheorangeprotectivepartfromthemachine.

Afterturningthemachineon,youmayneedtosetyourcountryorlanguage(dependingonyourmachine).Ifrequired,followtheTouchscreeninstructions.

Loadthepaperinthetray.

Connectthepowercord.Themachinewillpoweronautomatically.

Adjustthepaperguides.

Donotexceedthismark(bbb).

SelecttheSSID(NetworkName)foryouraccesspoint/routerandentertheNetworkKey(Password).

Whenthewirelesssetupissuccessful,theTouchscreendisplays[Connected].
