About this course:Logical extension of IST359. There’s a good bit of overlap. Many topics we delve into with greater detail.We use Oracle 11g as the DBMS instead of SQL Server.DBA / Database Developer focused.We will focus our energies on your Db interests.We will learn from each other. About 80% “Hands On.” Lots of doing.

Project – 40 ptsSemester long activity; due at the end of the semester.You can start it today using the knowledge you acquired in IST359.Design and build a database system from the ground up.Deliverables: A report of your design, a working prototype system, and a presentation / demo.You can work with a partner, but your project must be twice as ambitious.Great resume builder.
