Cross curricular based class that incorporates both math and reading.

Provides the students with a practical application of what they have learned or are learning in other subject areas.

Students apply prior knowledge along with new information to design and create floor plans for specific design criteria.

Students create their own “company” Projects start with the students creating a

Design Brief including all required items. The Design Briefs are then redistributed

to different students. The objective of the project is to meet the

requirements of the company’s owner.
