7th grade favorite: Mr. Matthews
Mr. Matthews was a extraordinary teacher. He has a great sense of humor and he teaches in a way that is effective and enjoyable. I have learned a great deal of useful knowledge from his classes and I count myself lucky for being able to be a student in his class. This year, Mr. Matthews received an award for being recognized for being a groovy teacher.
6-8th grade favorite: Mrs. Crocker
Mrs. Crocker is the best music teacher I have ever had. She has taught me and my friends the basics of band music which I cannot fully express my gratitude for. Mrs. Crocker is very involved in supporting positive community events and organizations like the middle school plays (this year it was Mulan) and June’s kids closet. She has been very instrumental (get it!) in my middle school experience and I really appreciate all the work she does for Philomath Middle School.
