MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating afatal shooting that happened in the neighborhood justsouth of 13th and Capitol on the city’s north side earlySunday, October 2nd.

Of cials say shortly after midnight, police were alertedto a ShotSpotter activation in the area.

When of cers got to the scene, they located a male thathad been shot. He was unconscious and not breathing.The victim’s injury was severe — and he died at thescene.

The circumstances surrounding this shooting remain unclear. Of cials are searching for suspects.
