The bride, the former MissI'heatus Doris Stallings, is thedaughter of Mr. and Mrs. ErnestWellington Luther of Columbia.Mr. Strange is the son of Mrs.Louise Strange of Winnsboro andthe late C. E. Strange.

The ceremony took place at 5.p. m. on March 31, with springflowers decorating the church andfurnishing a background for thewedding.

Mrs. Strange was graduatedfrom the University of SouthCarolina and later studied at Fur-man University. Since completingher college work she has beenteaching in schools of West Co-lumbia.

Mr. Strange took both his aca-demic and law degrees at the Uni-versity of South Carolina and forthe past three years has, beenpracticing law in Spartanburg.He is state president of the YoungDemocrats club, treasurer of theCongress for Democracy and na-I tional committeeman for United IYouth for Defense.

A lovely and interesting wed-ding of the late summer was thatof Miss Don Oza Marie StewartOf Ridge-way and Columbia andHorace Martel Kaiser of Lexing-ton and Columbia, which tookplace at 6:30 Friday evening inthe Baptist church at Ridgeway.The Rev. Palmer Pierce of theLutheran Church of the Incarna-tion, Columbia, pastor of thebridegroom, and the Rev. LeslieEdwards of the Ridgeway Baptistchurch, pastor of the bride, offi-ciated in the presence of a largeassemblage of relatives andfriends. The bridesmaids and maid ofhonor also wore shoulder-lengthveils to match their dresses,caught to their hair with rosebuds,and they carried old fashionedbouquets, each centered with aburning taper.Jane and Marian Edmunds of

During the evening the brideand bridegroom left for their wed-ding trip to Florida and when theyreturn will make their home at.)..5.l4Marion s~et Columbia. F .traveling the bride wore a cocoa-.brown suit with white accessories.

Mrs. Kaiser, a lovely and charm-ing girl, is the daughter of Mrs.Riley Stewart and the late Mr.Stewart of Ridgeway. She waseducated in the Ridgeway schools,at Lander college and Draughon'sBusiness college. At Lander, shewas a member of Pi Sigma Phisorority. For the past severalyears, the bride has been makingher home in Columbia, where sheis secretary in the Boy Scouts ofAmerica offices. Mrs. Kaiser be-longs to the Debonair and DutchDamsel clubs of this city.

Mr. Kaiser is the son of Mr. andMrs. J. Ed Kaiser of Lexington.He attended the Lexington schoolsand was graduated from the Uni-versity of .South Carolina schoolof pharmacy last June. The bride-groom is now with McGregor'sDrug store in Columbia. He be-longs to the Debonair club of Co-lumbia.
