International Modern Arnis Federation
MODERN ARNISSUMMER TRAINING CAMP
2008
Modern ArnisGrandmaster Jeffrey J. Delaney, the desig-
nated successor of Professor Remy A.
Presas, will be presenting the Art of
Modern Arnis. This art blends the elements
of Filipino stick fighting, jujitsu and karate
into a brilliantly conceived, versatile art
that compliments any art you already
study. In training, you will learn blocks and
disarms with sticks and empty hands; knife
disarms and joint locks, traps and baits; flow
drills; Tapi-Tapi sparring and so much more.
Military ArnisProfessor Lisa McManus, founder of the art
of Military Arnis and Executive Director of
the IMAF, will instruct her dynamic and
effective Art as shared with Military and
Law Enforcement around the country. This
art incorporates the foundation skills of the
beautiful art of Modern Arnis along with
boxing, Ukemi and ground fighting.
