*Requires referral by present math teacher and parent/guardian permission.

Implications of Math Any Math 11 course will graduate a student from high

school with a Dogwood certificate.

Post-secondary Math options will vary. Please be informed, and keep viable options open.

This time next year, students will need to pick a stream of math to continue on in. Students in Math 9: Fundamentals will automatically be placed in Workplace Math 10.

What About a Language?*You DO NOT need a Language to graduate from high school

UBC Vancouver – Language 11 for entrance to all programs SFU – Language 11 (including Intro 11) to all programsUBC Okanagan, UVIC – No language requirement for entrance to all programs

*Note: If you are applying to an Arts, Humanities, or Social Sciences degree at any university/college across Canada, you may be required to complete a 2nd

language course to complete your degree. In these cases, it can be helpful to have a Language 11 or 12 to potentially bypass this requirement.
