A White Paper written by Guy W. Wallace in 1982 while at MTEC - Motorola's Training & Education Center - that suggested the combination of the methods, tools and practices of Geary A. Rummler, those of Deming and Juran (and other quality gurus) and the communications/interpersonal behaviors from Huthwaite (Neil Rackham) - that became what my boss called a DIY-Geary Rummler Kit - that became a course OPS - Organizational Performance Systems - that morphed into Six Sigma: a combination of all of the TQM tools and techniques - and the Process orientation and tools (Swim lam=ne Process Maps is one) of Geary Rummler.
