Stop motion suitability:

• Unanimous decision that stop-motion that using stop motion as the technique, is well fitting, suiting the song and the genre of the music video

Using a happy song but mellow and acoustic atmosphere

Visually Interesting to fit abstract & artistic option, as well as telling a short story of a developing and changing city (Hong Kong)

Problems:Duration of the edit of photographs process

Solutions:Slip up the photographs into scenes and edit them

daily, scene by scene. Then import into iMovie and start the next scene, copying and pasting the vector. Need to stick to production schedule.

Editing software is already paid for and installed onto a laptop

450D Canon DLSR Camera already purchased and owned

Hard drive 20GB purchased already in case of storage full on MacBook

Audience Research shows that music videos that use stop motion are popular

Space in the music industry for stop motion based videos: combination of the two proven to be attracting to the target audience
