Title of the Research Paper : “Sustainable Development &

Innovative Clean Technology” (Published in International

Journal for Research in Applied Science & Engineering

Technology (IJRASET))

Name of the Authors : Ms. Anshu Mathur (Asst. Prof, Dept.

of Humanities & Social Sciences (HSS)), and Pooja Mathur

and Priyanka Mehra (B.Tech III Year students), JIETCOE.

Abstract : The use of renewable and non-renewable

resources in such a manner that they satisfy our current needs and do not compromise on the future availability

of resources. Sustainability tries to find a way in which human beings live comfortably while respecting Mother

Nature. It is a way for people to use resources with the resources running out. The world is not something we

enjoy today, it was here before we were born and it might be here after we leave. Sustainable development

solutions must meet the environmental, economic and social goals simultaneously to satisfy basic needs all over

nation. It uses various strategies for employing the existing resources optimally so that a responsible and

beneficial balance can be achieved over the longer term. Socio-political ability of a community to develop

processes and structures which not only meet the needs of its current members but also support ability of future

generations to maintain a healthy community. Clean technology is a term which describes products, processes

or services which reduces waste and encourages the use of resources in an optimizing way. It focusses on

recycling, use of renewable energy sources, sustainable or green transport, and use of energy saving bulbs and

grey water. Clean technology promotes productive and balanced use of the natural resources on the planet. The

paper aims at studying various innovative techniques incorporating green and healthy living and proper

implementation of the sustainable development tools and strategies going into effect now which will determine

the future which will further inherit our tomorrow.

Keywords: Renewable & non-renewable resources, sustainability, socio-political, green transport.

Title of the Research Paper : “Study of Lattice based FHE for Cloud Data Security”

Name of the Author : Ms. Aarti Dadheech (Asst. Prof., Dept. of Computer Science &

Engineering, JIETCOE)

Abstract : Cloud Computing is a transpiring trend in the modern world. It is a way of holding the

internet to use software or other IT services on demand. Due to its fast growth and popularity,

number of users deposit their data and applications on the cloud. The impressive growth in

cloud computing has proved to be promising innovation and more suitable for storing data and

applications remotely. But its uses improvement is hindered by the security issue. Cloud

doesn't provide more security for its services and storage purpose. The traditional security approach of

encryption doesn't make cloud fully secure. So there is a need to develop such a technique which increases the

security level of cloud. In order to solve the problem of data security in cloud computing system, lattice-based

cryptographic schemes implements the so called “Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) scheme”, which allows

processing directly on encrypted data and holds the promise eventually to solve the security problems with cloud

computing. In the current paper, we survey on the existing lattice based FHE encryption techniques. Fully

homomorphic encryption is a good solution to enhance security measures of cloud system that handles critical

data. This makes cloud computing more stable and solid.

Keywords: Cryptography, Cloud computing, Lattice based cryptography, Fully Homomorphic Encryption,

Security.

Title of the Research Paper : “Design and Analysis of Micro strip Antenna with Two Half

Circular Patches and Elliptical Patch using CST and their Applications for Ultra-wide Band”

Name of the Author : Ms. Surbhi Bhandari (Asst. Prof., Department of Electronics &

Communication Engineering (ECE), JIETCOE)

Abstract : Wireless communications has developed widely and rapidly in the modern world

especially during the last two decades. The future development of the personal

communication devices aims to provide image, speech and data communications at any time,

and anywhere around the world. This indicates that the future communication terminal

antennas must meet the requirements of multi-band or wideband operations to sufficiently cover the possible

operating bands. However, the difficulty of antenna design increases when the number of operating frequency

bands increases within a single antenna. The aim is to study and design various rectangular microstrip patch

antennas for wireless communication systems and study the effect of various antenna parameters like patch

length (L), patch width (W), substrate relative dielectric constant, substrate thickness etc.

The objective of this paper is to design and analysis the Microstrip Patch Antenna which covers the Ultra Wide

Band 3.1 to 10.6 GHz. It covers study of basics and fundamentals of microstrip patch antenna. A series of

parametric study were done to find that how the characteristics of the antenna depends on its various

geometrical and other parameters. The various geometrical parameters of the antenna are the dimensions of the

patch and ground planes and the separation between them and it also includes the dielectric constant of the

substrate material. The parametric study also contains the study of different techniques for optimizing the

different parameters of antenna to get the optimum results and performance. This is a simulation based study.

The design and simulation of the antenna is

carried out using CST microwave Studio

simulation software.

Two antennas with different types of shapes

were designed which cover the entire UWB

range. The first designed antenna has two half

circular patches which are overlapped to each

other. A narrow rectangular slit is added to the

patch to improve the performance of antenna.

The return loss curve shows that the antenna has

bandwidth from 3GHz to 12GHz with a minimum

S11 -45 dB at 3.5 GHz. The second design is

elliptical patch antenna with modified ground

plane which covers 2.46 Ghz to 13.62 Ghz

frequency range has a minimum return loss at

resonance frequency 10GHz -50dB. Return loss

curve, antenna gains and the Far field results are

shown for both the designed antennas.

Wisdomjobs.com, an end-to-end online recruitment and career solutions portal, recently released a survey on “Hiring Freshers: Challenges Faced by Recruiters”.

The survey, conducted across 10 cities with 850 recruiters from 10 industries/ sectors, understands the challenges recruiters address while hiring freshers.

The survey also takes a look at the skills and qualities that recruiters are looking for, in freshers.

With freshers making up the major chunk of annual hiring for most mid- and large-sized organizations, recruiters and companies invest a lot of time and effort in ensuring that they find the right talent. While recruiting freshers offers the most cost-effective means of hiring entry-level talent, hiring them brings its own set of challenges for hiring managers.

INACCURATE RESUMES

Freshers lack the requisite experience and exposure when it comes to creating an impact upfront with their resumes. Consequently, recruiters have to sift through several incomplete and inaccurate resumes when they are hiring freshers. Consequentially, resume-related hurdles are the most commonly cited issue by recruiters.

* 62% of the surveyed recruiters said that they regularly came across embellished resumes.

* 52% of those surveyed said that falsified educational qualifications/ fake academic degrees were the major embellishment.

* 24% said that fake projects and internships were the biggest falsehood while 20% also mentioned non-existent colleges as a common lie in fresher resumes.

Skill Gaps

* 57% of recruiters felt that the engineering freshers they hired did not have the necessary technical skills required of their profiles, including coding skills. The corresponding number for non-engineering graduates (MCA) was 35%

* 36% of the recruiters said non-engineering undergraduates were under-skilled in their core areas while the corresponding number for postgraduates was 40%.

ATTITUDINAL ISSUES

Since freshers enter their workplaces directly from their academic environments, quite often, the transition is not smooth. From lack of awareness regarding workplace etiquette to unrealistic expectations regarding their roles and from lack of exposure to a collaborative environment to inability to meet deadlines, there are many reasons why several freshers find it difficult to adapt to the demands of their workplaces.

* 52% of the surveyed recruiters said that freshers struggled with team dynamics.

* 42% of them said freshers were unable to meet work deadlines.

* Nearly 25% of the respondents said freshers had inflated opinions regarding their own capabilities.

GEOGRAPHIC DIVIDE

It goes without saying that freshers from the metropolitan cities have access to a qualitative educational facilities, more opportunities, and exposure to better extra-curricular facilities.

* Nearly 40% of the recruiters from metropolitan cities said that were happy with the core skills of freshers while the corresponding number for other cities was 35%

* While 55% of recruiters from metros were satisfied with the communication skills of the freshers they hired, only 28% of recruiters from other cities felt the same.

CITY-WISE HIRING

In city-wise satisfaction regarding overall quality of fresher hires, Delhi tops among the metros with nearly 50% of recruiters hiring for fresher jobs in Delhi, followed by recruiters hiring for Fresher jobs in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata in that order with 46%, 43%, 39%, 38% and 35% respectively.
