My school

Cristina Anghel Oinacu School

Romania

Where ? Oinacu village is situated in Giurgiu county, 53 km away from Bucharest - the chapital of Romania.

People practice agriculture, raising animals, beekeeping and fishing.

The schoolIt’s a rural school but in the past few years things have improved in general for these types of schools. The school has an ITC laboratory and it’s connected to the Internet.The school has four classrooms, a physics and chemistry laboratory, and a gymroom.

Participation in the project gave students the opportunity to :

communicate in a foreign language, collaborate on common themes or

topics of common interest, know students from other countries.

The school is registed at e-Twinning since 2009.We have collaborated in two projects:Ciencia para toda la familia, with a school in SpainCooking and culture, with schools from Italy and Poland.

This year, in September we are going to start a Comenius multilateral project with Turkey, Poland and Hungary, which has been approved recently. “Break the walls, via folk music and folk dances”
