my sweet apocalypse

HI! =DI’ve been trying to play an Apocalypse Challenge. I’ve actually tried… 9 times in 3 months and she’s the only one to get past the first 3 or 4 weeks without me losing the challenge. XD

I tossed in the Extreme part (largest lot) because the normal Adult start was getting too repetitious. Not that I finished any of them…. XDAnyway, Using the Borg rules- all of them- but adding the Handicaps/Advantages. Mainly because I have a hard time with Pets in The Sims and I can’t handle the children crying for baths- I’m weak.

This is my Sim- Angel Sweet.

The Handicaps/Advantages I’ve chosen are:

1. Mine- Extreme Start 1. ANIMAL HERO- 1 job lift= 2 lifts2. Adult Start 2. Squeaky Clean- 1 cheap shower/once a day3. Muggle World (no supernaturals) 3. Lucky Discovery- 1 Aspiration reward til gone4. Sardine Can (2 floors above ground)

This is where many of my other starts have failed… I have to have a job for the first day. She has enough money for a bed and walls. =]

Woot! Freaking Awesome- a promotion on the first day.

“Can I have a fridge and a shower now?” –Angel

No. You can have a shower and a bed though. =D

With the promotion she doesn’t work tomorrow. She needs a job so after rotating the paper in her inventory, her next first job is Gaming. =D

Angel enjoyed a nice shower but she didn’t have anything to do except daydream and relax in bed.

~The loneliness of an extreme start. She needs 1 creativity point for the Gaming career promotion but no money for a computer. XD

The next morning it’s a few primps for hygiene and ….

More time daydreaming about Sims she’s met and a few she somehow heard about.

Love the Aspiration bump for just going to work. =D

With the promotion, she needs even more Creativity skills and with her pay, it’ll take too long for her to buy a computer so it’s to the Paper.

Oh, look! The last walk-bye is … uh, Kennedy Cox. - Not Benjamin. Can’t remember which is a Knowledge Sim and which is a Fortune Sim though. XD

I think Kennedy is the Fortune Sim. O.O

So they talk for a while… until I notice her body temp is going down fast. O.O

*Kissie noices* “Nightie, night. It was so nice to meet you.” –Angel

I got scared for a moment there. Thought she might fall over frozen before the shower warmed her up enough to make it inside. O.O

The meter says she’s warmer…

“I need some money. Drinking old instant meals and nothing to do but day dream isn’t cutting it.” -Angel

You only need a little food boost so you’re not too hungry and at least you have a bed. I’ve seen some Apocalypse Challenges where they pass out on the floor. O.O

Werewolves are only a superstition… Oh, look~ an aspiration boost. =D

“See how Awesome I am? I got another promotion- Level 2 in Oceanography. Let’s party!” -Angel

Marisa Bendett- I’ve always liked her even though she never had cute babies.

“Hi. I’m not needing friends just yet but I do need someone to talk to. My social is nearly in the yellow.” –Angel

No. You can’t meet Juan. He’s a high level Business Sim, we might need him for later generations. He’s just the type of Sim you’d fall and he’ll never walk by again. XD

“Oh, okay. This is a Challenge family! You want Sims with good jobs. I’ve got a job and I just know it’s a great job. I’m not sure what it is but it’s got to be wonderful. Maybe one of your later generations will be interesting enough for me.” –Marisa

“Sure. Okay… sounds fun. I’ve got to go now. Maybe eat something or workout. ~ bye and stuff.” –Angel.

“Why am I still drinking this old instant meal again? –Angel

Because I want you to be hungry for work in the morning so you’ll eat there; but not too hungry for your mood to be crappy.

And since you didn’t use your meal for the day you can fill a pet dish of food for later. It doesn’t seem to go bad. =D

Oh, sure. Both Joe Carr- a nice Fortune Sim, and a kitty visits while she’s at work. I knew she was jinxing us. =[

Oh, look- an old lady Sim for a walk by, again!

Today we have enough to pay for one bill (108§) -The other will have to wait for another day.

A bookcase is so much better then relaxing on the bed and daydreaming for hours.

“Shhh… busy reading about Mechanical or something.” –Angel

This is her outdoor wear. I made it for a Sim who was going for a Military Lift- (failed to get Military though ) - and I wanted all her normal wear to be the same. =D

After all these years, I finally took a try at it with Simpe. LOl XD

“You’re the best Sim for the job and you look so pretty today.” *kissing noise* -Angel

Well, crap- she was ready for a promotion. There’s no need for this- dang game. =[

Luckily we got the right answer and she still gets that promotion. =D

Oh, lookie, Angel- A cute Sim you should get along with. (We all know him- Family/ Social Sim, Culinary job). Still, I need a partner for her.

“How sweet of you to offer your friend’s phone number to a stranger but no thanks.” –Angel

Why couldn’t he have offered the promotion network? XD

“Let me warm up a bit with my new fireplace and I’ll make us something to eat.” –Angel

Love the fireplace but I wish the visitors would use it.

“Your hotdogs are pretty good. Maybe when we’re best friends you’ll let me have more than one.” -Clarence

“Pfft- offer me a promotion for networking instead of your friend’s phone number and I’ll think about it.” –Angel

It’s her first cooked meal-Yay! XD

They worked on their relationship until he turned blue…

Once she turned blue it was time to send him home.

While Clarence leaves with memoires of a goodbye kiss, I rush Angel to get the fireplace going.

“Come on, light a fire, damn you.” –Angel

And here is where we get scared she’ll either catch on fire or freeze before she can warm up. Yes, thank you so much for more snow, TS2 game. *holds breath* O.O

After 5 or 6 warm-self actions with the fireplace, she’s good to go and working out.

“I’m so glad I only need only 1 body skill for a promotion.” -Angel

Yay! A promotion- Level 4 and it’s only Saturday. I’m ecstatic for this iteration of the challenge. Best Sim Evar!

You don’t need much yet, plus we can’t buy much anyway. All those restrictions keep the good stuff out of our reach.

She gets two new squares of walls, rugs, paints, railings, those top of the roof thingies, and most building stuff a day- IF she can afford it. XD

Oh, come on game. Send some Sims with good jobs as walkbys. =[

She woke up early for this… =/

“Oh, yeah. Who’s the fit Sim now?” –Angel

I decided to let her take her shower in the morning. Not that it mattered but she was getting close to bottoming out in both hygiene and aspiration (into gold for the asp).

With the boost of going to work she was safe from that- good work Angel! =D

It’s like the game WANTs her to fail. O.o

Luckily, I gave a good answer and she gets her promotion. (Thank you Snooty Sims) XD

What do you all talk about in that old Sim’s Home?

“Who’s the bad@ss Sim? I am- I own this job.” –Angel

And that’s why she’s still in the job. I thought about changing her job, if something good came along, but she’s keeping this one.

She’ll get elixir if she tops it, which can be used for both good and bad, and she might need it. A few other attempts failed without it… We’ll see if she really does own this job. XD

The hardest skills to get are the first 3 body skills. It’s bad for hygiene, energy, and hunger. =[

This is the end of Week 1. She needs one more skill and had to wait until Monday for her shower… Will her luck hold or will the game give us a bad Chance Card? O.O

I’m using the pay 150§ a week for the Criminal restriction.
