5. Fire Emblem Awakening

Description-Nintendo 3DS, 2013 Focuses on Chrom, former -Tactical role-playing Prince of Ylisse, and his time- -11th of the franchise traveling daughter, Lucina.

Gameplay-The game is separated into chapters, which is equal to a battle. -Number limited of characters to pick for each battle -Move your fighters and fight enemies one after the other, until you fulfilled your mission.

Gameplay-Strategy is the key aspect of this game-You need to take care of all of your characters on and outthe battlefield-Improving their relationship, friends, or fall in love and marry-Help for a better cooperation during fights.

Cool factor-“Best role-playing game of 2013” -The story, with the time-traveling and idea that future is not fixed. -The visual is astonishing, with three different styles.

My favourite sceneThe confession of “Marth” aka Lucina, to Chrom, her father, about what the future hold for them. It’s a beautiful scene, and a really sad one, from a young woman who never knew her father, and is ready to sacrifice herself for him.

4. Bioshock Infinite

Gameplay-The third episode of the Bioshock franchise, acting as a prequel -Reuses the main mechanics of its brothers, a mix between using guns and super-powers. -New gameplay element, Elizabeth super-power, creating portals.

Cool Factor-Mind-blowing story, mixed with time and space traveling, and multi-Univers paradoxes. -Packed with action and bloody-violence, but never seems force into the story.

My favourite sceneWhile hiding from the army, Elizabeth and Booker ended up in a cellar, where a young boy is hiding under the stairs. To reassuring him, Elizabeth start to sing “Will the circle be unbroken”, and Booker grab the guitar, making for one amazing song, one of my favourite of all time.

My favourite sceneThe separation between Midna, who helped and guide Link during his adventure, and Link and Zelda. As the Princess of the Shadow World, Midna decides that her world should not be access anymore, and she destroy the mirror-portal just after disappearing. It’s very sad, but it’s seems logical after all.

Description-PS3, 2013 -action-adventure / horror-survival -20 years after the beginning of an apocalypse, where most of the world was turned into zombies by a mushroom, Joel as to escort a 14 years old girl, Ellie, trough the country in search of a group of resistant, the Fireflies.

Gameplay-Shooting, using different type of guns and traps-Make your way in or out of locations by killing zombies and/or humans. -Depending of which enemy you’re facing, a different strategy as to be apply.

Cool Factor-Pushes the graphical limitation of the PS3-A beautiful story, full of emotion -The voice acting is incredible-The characters are marvellously developed. -Ellie, was the centre of the DLC The Last of Us: Left Behind, and she had her own comics, called American Dreams. -A movie is also planed, but the script is unknown.

I don’t have a favourite scene in that video game, as I love it from start to finish. Of course, I mostly like Ellie’s scenes, and I also like the DLC, and I can’t wait to see what the movie is going to bring to the table.
