Sleeping: Neck Pain Problems

Stationary life style and neck pain problems go in pair.

If you are one of the people with such problems, don’t worry millions of us are in a

similar position.

If you are lucky not to have this issue you probably know someone who does.

Neck pain is very popular because the neck is made out of many elements with give it a big range of motion, this causes the neck to be susceptible to injuries and stress.

Additionally there are many common diagnoses of neck pain such as herniated discs, arthritis, different muscle

strains and injuries caused by for example whiplash.

Although there are many different causes of neck pain the most common is very simple –

bad posture while sleeping.

Additional bad posture while doing any activity has a huge impact on your neck and might

cause pain.

Even such simple tasks as reading a book can put unnecessary strain on your neck and cause

it to pain.

The best thing to do is not to spend all of your days in a stationary position.

It is normal to sit and work on your computer, but it is also recommended to take a break every

hour or so and stand up for a minute.

The best tip is to not lean forward for long periods of time.

An individual should invest money into a chair that provides proper support.

What can you do to help you stop leaning forward? Everyone catches themselves doing this to get a better

view or just because their chair is unconformable.

The best tip to improve this is to get a better view of the screen, either by pulling your screen

closer or changing the resolution.

Also if you find yourself doing this while viewing the internet use ctrl + scroll to make

the text larger.

Still the number one cause of sore neck is bad sleeping habits.

Having a pillow located too high or too low can puts the muscle of the neck into an

uncomfortable position.

Also sleeping in a proper position lets you sleep less and wake up more rested.

It was scientifically proven that sleeping on your back gives the best results.

Second best position is the side with both legs a little bend – the safe position.

It is hard to change your habits, but if you have poor posture there is no other around this

problem.

Keep in mind that if you keep your poor posture habits the problem will not go away it

will just get worse.

By changing those things you won’t only get a better life standard or stop the neck pain but

also stop any further problems you might later.

Sleeping in a right position is the best thing you can do for yourself and your neck.

In conclusion there are many different neck pain causes, but poor posture is the most

common.

Additionally a lot of the time neck pain goes together with shoulder pain if you would like to
