Failure in President’s Rule RANCHI - Paramedic body demands salary hike

• February 14 , 2013 The All Jharkhand Paramedical Association (AJPA) on

Wednesday submitted a memorandum of demands asking for a hike in salary to the governor's health adviser, K Vijay Kumar. Contractual staff has been working in the state since 2005 without any increase in their salary , except in 2007 . But that salary structure has continued till date. "We have drawn the attention of the health department towards this several times, but every time our plea fell on deaf ears. Therefore, we decided to submit a memorandum to the adviser as the state is now under President's Rule.

Failure of President’s Rule RANCHI - Law & order on the brink of collapse under President's Rule

in Jharkhand

February 1 9 , 2 0 1 3 | Alok K N Mishra RANCHI: Jharkhand is gradually sinking into lawlessness

under the President's Rule . Several incidents of crime have been reported in the past 15 days, the latest being the curfew in Chatra on Sunday after one person was killed in police firing. Businessmen and political parties in the state say the lawlessness is because police are yet to pull up their socks. In the past one week, a businessman and his driver were abducted on Thursday and are still traceless, a contractor and a Para-teacher were shot dead in Torpa (Khunti)

Corruption One of the main problem India

facing is Corruption.

Corruption Corruption is the process of giving or

accepting bribes or inappropriate gifts, double dealing, under-the-table transactions, manipulating elections, diverting funds, laundering money and defrauding investors.

Corruption is a cancer which every Indian must strive to cure

Election time is a time when corruption is as its peak level.

In parliamentary government politicians works for their interest oriented but not for public or nation oriented.

Conclusion In conclusion, I agree with some, that a

democracy must represent its people. Perhaps no system in history represents the people more than the parliamentary form of government. However, Indian politicians DO NOT represent the people rather they are in office for their own self-interests. To add insult to injury, our country suffers from illiteracy, which makes it extremely tough for the people to understand and ultimate take charge of the situation.
