Rust restricts filters and can flow into carburetors and injectors causing your car to run poorly or prevent starting. Our Gas Tank Sealer Kit cleans away rust and coats the inside with an elastomer that seals minor leaks. It’s a very easy process; simply clean the inside of the tank with Fast Etch, Muriatic acid and acetone. Then install the internal sealer and let cure. The sealer resists fuel additives and is compatible with both gas and diesel fuels. Your reconditioned tank will prevent rust and corrosion build-up giving you years of reliable service. After restoring the inside, don’t forget to paint the outside with Tank Tone (10030Z, not included) to produce an OEM look (.5 gallon of Muriatic acid and acetone will be required; available at your local hardware store).
