On 7th July 2018 a guest lecture
on Engineering Geology was
organized by Civil department.
Dr.V.Subramanian, Former
Professor from National College,
Trichy gave a practical oriented
information to students. He also
enriched the students by giving
some project ideas.

Programme
for Masons
On 10th July 2018, the
Department of Civil
engineering conducted
skill development
programme for
Masons in association
with Ultra Tech.
Around 50 Masons
were participated from
various part of Trichy.

and final year students
from July 14th
2018.Nearly 40 students
were attending the
classes.

Guest Lecture on Highway Engineering &
Inauguration of Civil Engineering Association
On 21st July 2018 a guest lecture on Highway Engineering was given by Dr.R.Krishnasami, Divisional Engineer, Highway Department, Trichy. Followed by the lecture Civil Engineering association (C-ENTITE) & Student Chapters of IEI, ICI and FACEAT&P was inaugurated. The office bearers were introduced for various student chapters.

On 21st July 2018 Ms. A. Rosana Begum AP/Civil and 8 students from second and third year students visited Purathakudi Village to collect details for Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan.2.0. They also visited the compound Wall Panels manufacturing industry at Mettu Irugalur.

A One day Industrial Visit
On 27th July 2018 a one day industrial visit for final year A section students to Tanjore Railway station to know about the process of Prestressed concrete construction. Accompanied with Mr.P.Gopalsamy AP/Civil & Ms.C.Nissi Joy AP/Civil

On 9th July 2018 Ms.E.Poornima AP/Civil, Ms.M.Deepika AP/Civil and 4 students from third year and final year visited Amman TRY, Trichy to collect the steel slag for project work.
On 21st & 22nd July 2018 Dr.G.Vani Associate professor/civil served as a judge in TNSCST – Seminar & Exhibition held at National College, Trichy.
On 25th July 2018 Students from second year, third year, final year and all staff
members attended Letz Connect meeting and also registered in that application.
On 27th July 2018 in Association with Yi-Yuva, 7 students from third year visited Amman TRY, Trichy
Three projects have been submitted for both CZC 2018-19 & ICT Academy Tamil Nadu Student Innovator Award on 30th July 2018.
All Staff members and 6 students from third year registered for NPTEL online courses.
Students and Faculty members Dr.R.Vidya, Dr.G.Vani & Ms.T.Kaviyarasi attended PALS innoWAH Webinar on 31st July 2018.
